Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare is aware of Tottenham Hotspur target Demarai Gray’s demands for more game time this season.

The 21-year-old winger attracted a flurry of offers towards the end of the window, but Leicester rejected at least three bids for the player in order to keep him at the club.

Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth all slapped in substantial offers towards the end of the transfer window, but Shakespeare has insisted none of them matched the club’s valuation of the young winger.

Gray has mostly been used as an impact substitute since his arrival from Birmingham in January last year and Shakespeare admits that the winger is demanding more minutes this season.

Asked about the offers for Gray last week, the Leicester City manager said in a press conference: "The bids didn't meet our valuation.
