Leeds United loanee Marcus Antonsson has expressed his delight with Blackburn Rovers' start to their League One campaign.

After their opening day defeat to Doncaster Rovers, Blackburn have won four on the bounce, including a 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United last night at Glanford Park.

Antonsson, who joined the club from Leeds on loan in the summer, has been playing regular football with Blackburn and even scored in their win over Rochdale at the weekend.

And the Swede is delighted with the way things are going for the club after their opening day defeat and believes the team are only getting stronger with each passing day.

He also thanked the away support for their loud backing at Glanford Park last night.

Antonsson took to Twitter and wrote: “Four in a bounce and we [are] getting stronger and stronger!

“Thanks to the traveling fans.”

Antonsson was deemed surplus to requirements by Leeds in the summer and is hoping to help Blackburn to return to the Championship during his loan stint with the club.
