Tottenham Hotspur new boy Serge Aurier says he has had no problem settling into life at the north London club, especially with already knowing Moussa Sissoko from their time together at Toulouse.

Aurier joined Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain just before the transfer window shut, with the 24-year-old having been certain throughout the summer that he wanted to move on.

He has been thrown straight into first team action at Tottenham and was involved in the club's 0-0 Premier League draw against Swansea City at Wembley on Saturday.

Aurier says he has quickly settled in, finding his team-mates "super nice" and having the added advantage of already knowing Sissoko.

"My integration is good", Aurier told SFR Sport.

"I know some people, including Moussa Sissoko, with whom I played at Toulouse.

"It allows me to integrate myself as well as possible.

"I am very happy.

"They are a team with a very good mentality and the guys are super nice.

"On the pitch, I immediately got my bearings.

"I am happy to be in this dressing room", the Ivory Coast international added.

Aurier will now be looking to continue to get playing time under his belt with Spurs and could again be in action in midweek when Mauricio Pochettino's men take on Championship side Barnsley in an EFL Cup tie.

The defender had also been linked with a series of other clubs in the summer transfer window, including Manchester United, Inter and Juventus.
