Liverpool legend John Aldridge feels the fans will soon starting asking questions about Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff for failing to getting to grips with the basic problems undermining the club’s ambitions.

The Merseyside giants, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at the weekend, are currently eighth in the Premier League table with just eight points from five games.

Liverpool are already five points adrift of the leaders Manchester City and Manchester United, with the Anfield outfit also starting their Champions League group stage campaign with a 2-2 draw with Sevilla last week.

Liverpool’s defensive woes, which were present when Klopp took charge of the club in October 2015 have not gone away; the Reds have already conceded nine goals in the Premier League, the second-highest in the division.

And Aldridge, who thinks Klopp needs to address Liverpool’s repeated defensive failings, is of the opinion that the German tactician may soon be questioned by the fans if the situation does not change.
