Arsenal talent Joe Willock has lauded Jack Wilshere for his performance in the Gunners' 4-2 Europa League win away at BATE Borisov.

Arsene Wenger handed Wilshere a start in Belarus and the midfielder did not let the French tactician down as he turned in a superb display.

Wilshere set up Theo Walcott, who hit the post, before then setting him up again and watching Walcott open the scoring as a result in the ninth minute.

The 25-year-old made sure to take his chance in the team and produced a number of incisive passes as he demostrated his value.

For Willock, there is much more to come from Wilshere as he is not yet back at his peak fitness level.
