Young Celtic striker Jack Aitchison has revealed he grew up an Arsenal fan and is banking on former Gunners star Kolo Toure to bring on his game.

Toure, who was part of the legendary Arsenal Invincibles side, is now on the coaching staff at Celtic after a season as a player at the Scottish champions.

Aitchison now has the chance to work with Toure regularly on the training pitch and revealed that the Ivorian is trying to pass on the tricks of the trade that Thierry Henry boasted during his time at Arsenal.

And the 17-year-old striker admits that as an Arsenal fan, he watched much of Henry when he was growing up.

"Kolo is probably the biggest help to me at Celtic. He’s the nicest guy you will ever meet. He’s very down to earth and he speaks away like a normal person. You wouldn’t know what he’s achieved in his career", Aitchison was quoted as saying by the Evening Times.

"He’s trained with Thierry Henry, so he’s been trying to tell me what he used to do – the movements he’d make in games.

"If you’re learning from guys like that, it’s going to be beneficial.

"Funnily enough, I’m actually an Arsenal fan. Me and my dad both support them.

"So I have watched [Henry] on the internet and YouTube just to see how he played. He was unbelievable."

The Celtic talent admits he would love to follow in Henry's footsteps, but is fully aware to do so will mean putting in the hard yards.

Atichison became Celtic's youngest ever goalscorer when he hit the back of the net in 2016, with the Bhoys crushing Motherwell 7-0.
