Former Inter Milan technical director Gabriele Oriali has stressed the importance of the squad for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho enjoyed immense success at Inter during his two-year stint at the San Siro and won the treble of Serie A, the Champions League and the Italian Cup in his final season in Italy.




Oriali worked with the current Manchester United boss at Inter and revealed his admiration for a coach who took the Nerazzurri to the summit of European football during his short stay in Italy.

The Italian admits that Mourinho always strives to build a strong squad and the key to his success that none of the players under the Portuguese are certain starters or bench warmers as he wants to involve everyone in his quest for success.
 


Oriali was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Calciomercato.com: “The relationship with Mourinho has remained the same and he is doing well now.

"He is good at involving everyone who is part of the technical group and there are no starters or reserves as for him the squad is very important.

“He got the most out of us in two years.”

Mourinho won the EFL Cup and the Europa League during his first season at Manchester United and his side have made a great start in the league and the Champions League in the current campaign.
