Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has insisted that he does not care about the discontent the St. Johnstone players felt over his comments comparing their team with Morton.

The Glasgow giants played Morton in a friendly during the international break and Caixinha later suggested that it was good preparation for his players ahead of the game against St. Johnstone.

He pointed out Morton play the same style and formation as St. Johnstone and that left some of the Saints players unamused as they were not pleased being compared with the second tier outfit.

They felt Caixinha has been trying to play mind games with St. Johnstone, but the Rangers manager insisted that he just compared the similar formations of both teams.

But he later added that it does not matter to him if he angered the St. Johnstone players with his comments.
