Rangers first team coach Jonatan Johansson feels Tommy Wright has done a great job at St. Johnstone, ahead of his side’s trip to McDiarmid Park on Friday.

Wright, who joined St. Johnstone as an assistant manager in November 2011 before being promoted to a manager in the summer of 2013, helped the Saints to win their first major trophy in the form of the Scottish Cup in the 2013/14 campaign.

He then guided St. Johnstone to a fourth place finish last season as the club tasted European football in the summer.

However, St. Johnstone, who are currently level on points with Rangers, lost their Europa League qualifier against Lithuanian outfit Trakai.

But Johansson, a former St. Johnstone player, feels Wright has managed to make his mark at McDiarmid Park.
