Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata has insisted that the trip to Aberdeen won't be easy for his team, but says they will go there well prepared and ready to challenge.

The Bhoys have continued with their fine form domestically, not yet losing a single match in the league so far this season.

Derek McInnes's team on the other hand have their own record to boast of, trailing the league leaders in terms of goal difference only as they head into the match on Wednesday.

With the match scheduled to be played at Aberdeen's home ground Pittodrie, the 26-year-old insists that it will be particularly challenging for Celtic.

"Going to Aberdeen is not easy. It’s going to be tough but we’ll be well prepared and will challenge them as much as we can", Boyata said at a press conference.

Giving his opinion on the team's unbeaten run, the Belgian defender said that they won't speak too much about it and will continue to focus on the job in hand and maintain that form.

“We know it’s a great achievement but we don’t speak about it.

"We just take it one game at a time.”

The Hoops have a busy schedule ahead during which they will have to play three matches in the space of seven days, including the Champions League meeting against Bayern Munich on 31st October.
