Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has revealed that he has been told by the Swede's doctor that the striker's knee is in the best possible condition, with the medical professional never having seen such a knee.

Manchester United have restrained themselves from setting a specific date for the former Barcelona striker's return though manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he expects Ibrahimovic to return before new year.

And now the player's agent has come out to claim that he has been told by Dr Freddie Fu, the doctor overseeing the rehabilitation process, that Ibrahimovic's knee is in the best possible condition even after so many years.

"Yes, they [medical scientists] want to [study his knee], Fu says so", Raiola told Swedish daily Expressen.

"He says he has never seen such a strong and pure knee after such a long career as Zlatan has. Imagine all the bangs [his knee has received].

The 49-year-old also took time to speak about his and Fu's hope of seeing Ibrahimovic return to action soon and play for as many as five to six more years because he has so much left in him.

"He [Fu] says he has never seen anything like 40 years. It's the best knee he has ever seen.

"This damage would be Himalayan to many, but to Zlatan it's a small hill. He will be back soon."

Raiola also stressed Ibrahimovic is showing no signs of getting ready for retirement.

"He [Ibrahimovic] has so much in him.

"I think minimum another five or six years. I won't let him stop, he has to work for me now."

Ibrahimovic signed a new one-year contract extension with Manchester United in spite of being out of action for the first half of the campaign.
