Manchester City defender Danilo has revealed that he is misses playing for Real Madrid following his summer move to England.

The full-back joined Manchester City from Real Madrid at the end of last season despite heavy interest from Chelsea and has been an important part of Pep Guardiola’s squad.

While not a regular in the starting eleven yet, Guardiola appreciates Danilo’s versatility as a player and he is expected to play a key role as the season progresses.

However, the former Porto man admits that he has been missing Real Madrid, where he won two Champions Leagues and the Spanish league title during his two-year stay.

However, the Brazilian indicated that he had to leave the European champions this summer for his career.
