Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini has hailed the evolution of West Ham United target Bryan Cristante following his performance in his side’s 5-1 rout of Everton in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The 22-year-old midfielder, on loan from Benfica since January, scored a brace and was a constant threat from midfielder in Atalanta’s hammering of Everton at Goodison Park.




The Italian has loved playing against the Toffees this season, scoring three goals in two Europa League group games and has also emerged as a key performer for Atalanta in Serie A as well.

Gasperini is pleased with the strides Cristante has made since joining the club in January this year and believes the midfielder has the talent to become even better in the near future.
 


The Atalanta coach was quoted as saying Italian outlet TuttoJuve: “Cristante is in great shape after taking a bit of getting used to.

The midfielder’s progress in Serie A has not gone unnoticed across Europe and has is attracting interest from West Ham, Juventus, Lazio and Inter, meaning Atalanta may struggle to keep hold of him in the new year.
