Leeds United target Laurens De Bock left Club Brugge’s training camp and arrived in England along with his agent on Monday as he inches closer to a transfer to Elland Road.

The defender has already agreed personal terms with the Championship side, but Leeds had some work to do to beat off competition from other clubs and thrash out a fee with Club Brugge.

And it seems a deal has been agreed between the two clubs as De Bock is due to undergo a medical at Leeds later today.

According to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad, the defender and his agent arrived in England on Monday after they left Club Brugge’s training camp and have been locked in talks with Leeds.

The defender’s representative and Leeds are believed to be going through the fine print of the agreement before De Bock undergoes a medical later this afternoon.

Leeds have been in the market for a full-back and the Belgian quickly emerged as their top target in this month’s transfer window.

The Whites signed Yosuke Ideguchi from Gamba Osaka earlier this month before loaning him out to Spanish second tier outfit Cultural Leonesa.

The Yorkshire giants also snapped up 19-year-old centre back Aapo Halme this winter from HJK Helsinki.
