RB Leipzig have a price in mind if Liverpool want Naby Keita in the winter transfer window, despite the club’s public assertions.

Liverpool agreed a fee worth €75m with the Bundesliga club last summer for Keita to join the Merseyside giants at the end of the current campaign.




However, after selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for €160m last week, the Reds are keen to bring forward Keita’s joining day and are keen to sign him in the winter window.

RB Leipzig have maintained publicly that they have no reason to let the player leave this month, but according to German daily Bild, the German club have identified the price at which they will allow the midfielder to join Liverpool this winter.
 


It has been claimed that RB Leipzig will allow Keita to move to Anfield earlier than scheduled for Liverpool are prepared to offer €20m more this month to take the final fee to €95m.

Keita has failed to reach last season’s heights and many at the club feel that his heart is already at Anfield, which has led to him becoming an isolated figure at RB Leipzig this season.

The German club’s private conversations are claimed to be different to what they are saying in public and if Liverpool agree to meet their price, the midfielder will become a Red this month.

If a deal is agreed for Keita in the winter window, he will become the most expensive player in Liverpool’s history.
