West Ham are considering making a move for 24-year-old Bologna full-back Adam Masina, it has been claimed.

Scouts from the east London club have been keeping a watch on the defender over the last few months and it seems the interest from West Ham has taken a concrete shape.




David Moyes remains on the looking for new players in the January window and it has been claimed that Masina has emerged as a target for the West Ham manager.

And according to Sky Italia, the Hammers are considering making a transfer move for the Bologna defender as they look to improve their squad in the January transfer window.
 


Masina has 18 months left on his contract with the club and so far Bologna’s attempts to get him to sign on fresh terms have failed as he continues to keep his options open.

It remains to be seen whether Bologna will consider selling him in January or wait until the summer, when Masina will enter the final 12 months of his contract with the Serie A club.

The former Italy Under-21 international is a product of the club’s academy and has made 115 senior appearances for the club.
