Roma have stepped up their chase for Manchester United and Liverpool target Aleix Vidal.

The Barcelona right-back has found game time hard to come by in the present campaign and has been linked with making a move away from the Camp Nou this month.

Manchester United and Liverpool have been credited with showing interest in the 28-year-old, who has managed to clock up just 754 minutes over 16 appearances in all competitions this season.

But according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, it is Roma who are pressing the accelerator to sign Vidal in the winter window.
