Chelsea have enquired about the possibility of signing Liverpool and Manchester City midfield target Jean-Michael Seri during the summer transfer window.
The midfielder’s future has been under the scanner for over a year now and he came close to joining Barcelona last summer before the Catalan giants backed out of the negotiations.
Seri’s future at Nice was again up for speculation when his agents reportedly met Manchester City to discuss the possibility of a transfer, but it seems the negotiations have been postponed until the end of the season.
Liverpool have also been linked with a summer swoop for Seri and even Serie A giants Roma are considering rekindling their interest in the Nice midfielder in the coming months.
And according to French magazine France Football, Premier League giants Chelsea have joined the long list of suitors for Seri ahead of the end of the current campaign.

It has been claimed the Blues have enquired about the possibility of signing Seri in the summer window from Ligue 1 club Nice.
Seri have a private agreement in place with Nice about leaving if they receive a transfer fee of €40m for him.
And as the end of the season approaches, it seems the midfielder is prepared to pack his bags at Nice in the summer amidst interest from some of the top clubs in Europe.
