Celtic attacking midfielder Callum McGregor expects Rangers to once again look to attack when the two teams meet in a Scottish Cup semi-final tie this weekend.

Graeme Murty's men ripped into Celtic in the previous league meeting between the Glasgow rivals, but ultimately fell short as they suffered a 3-2 defeat at Ibrox, despite the Bhoys going down to ten men in the game.

Rangers will have another opportunity to try to score a win against their rivals when they meet this Sunday in the Scottish Cup and the Gers will be desperate to knock their rivals out at the semi-final stage to end their double treble dreams.

And McGregor thinks Celtic already have a good idea of how Rangers will go about their business.

"They’ll be looking to get one over on us but our hunger to win is there in every moment of every game", he told Celtic View.

"It’ll be a good spectacle for the fans as well in terms of Rangers feeling that they need to come after us and try and to get a result.

"They scored a couple of goals last time and I think they’ll try and model that again in terms of attacking and trying to be aggressive in the game.

"It’s up to us to defend properly and counter-attack well", McGregor added.

Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final will not be the last time the Glasgow rivals meet this season, with a final Scottish Premiership encounter set for Sunday 29th April at Celtic Park.
