Celtic full-back Mikael Lustig believes that the pitch at Hampden Park suits the Bhoys, who will aim to use it to their advantage against Rangers on Sunday.

The Bhoys are scheduled to take on their Glasgow rivals Rangers in a Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday in order to decide whether they will fight for the treble or are forced to contend with a double.

The confidence of the league leaders will be boosted by the fact that they have a good record playing at Hampden and Lustig hopes that the pitch will favour them yet again on the given day.

“We feel good”, Lustig told his club's official website.

“The last couple of times playing at Hampden, we played good football and won the games so we're looking forward to it. Every time we go to Hampden we play really good football.

"The pitch suits us really well so that good for us."

Lustig feels the need of the hour will be to stay humble and stay focused because it is in the history of Celtic to fight for trophies.

“We're always humble. We're here for winning trophies and doing our talking on the pitch.

"We've done it so far and hopefully we can do it again."

The Hoops have already won one piece of silverware in the form of the Scottish League Cup and are close to winning the league yet again after opening up a gap of 13 points at the top of the table.
