Leeds United head coach Paul Heckingbottom is an admirer of Swansea City forward Olivier McBurnie and the 21-year-old is on the Whites' radar for the summer transfer window.

Heckingbottom, working with director of football Victor Orta, is expected to drastically revamp the Leeds squad in the summer following a season of underachievement from the Whites.

He may have to wheel and deal with a number of signings made over the last 12 months having been handed lengthy contracts.

And Swansea's McBurnie is a player who is highly rated by Heckingbottom and as such on Leeds' radar, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Heckingbottom signed the Scot on loan for Barnsley in the January transfer window earlier this year after he made eleven Premier League appearances, and he is currently playing his part in trying to help the Tykes survive in the Championship.

Swansea have McBurnie under contract until the summer of 2019 and it remains to be seen how they would react to an approach from Leeds for the forward.

McBurnie has done his reputation no harm at Barnsley so far, scoring eight goals in just 13 Championship games.
