Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that winning the FA Cup this season would mean little in the bigger scheme of things for Tottenham Hotspur.

Pochettino has never given too much importance to domestic cup competitions and has always maintained Tottenham must continue to strive to win the bigger prizes of the Premier League and the Champions League.

While many believe domestic cup success could be a huge fillip for a talented Tottenham squad, the Spurs boss has always looked to dial down the enthusiasm around the FA Cup or the EFL Cup.

Pochettino admits that winning the FA Cup would be a great achievement for his side at the end of the season and his men will strive to have their day out at Wembley.

However, he played down the importance of winning the competition and insisted that it would mean very little going forward for Tottenham.
