Former Scotland striker Steven Thompson does not feel Celtic fans have to worry about losing Brendan Rodgers to Arsenal.

The Gunners are now looking for a new manager after the news that long-serving boss Arsene Wenger will leave the club at the end of the season.

Rodgers has been linked with being in contention to take charge at the Emirates Stadium following his solid work north of the border with Celtic.

The former Liverpool boss is closing in on delivering a historic double treble for Celtic and Bhoys fans are hoping he stays at Parkhead to oversee what they hope will be ten-in-a-row.

Thompson feels Celtic fans can rest easy as he is sure that Rodgers will not be offered the Arsenal job, though he admits if he were then he would find it impossible to say no.
