Hearts boss Craig Levein believes that discontent among Rangers fans at Ibrox might work in the visiting side's favour on Sunday.

The team placed sixth in the league table are scheduled to travel to Glasgow to play their 34th league match of the season.

The hosts on Sunday will be desperate to bounce back from a humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of their bitter rivals Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final and will be eager to finish the season on a high.

Levein fears a backlash from the Gers when the Hearts visit Ibrox this weekend and has therefore asked his team to be ready.

The manager also took time to stress the need for his team to start well and then go on to use the resultant discontent among Rangers fans to their advantage and go on to take all three Premiership points.

"It hurts when you lose, they lost last week so they'll be determined not to be in that situation again so we'll have to be good sure", Levein was quoted as saying by STV.

"But we always intend to start well and if what's going on at Ibrox leads to discontent in the stadium then that can possibly help us.

"I've not got a crystal ball though, all I know is for Rangers to feel uncomfortable we have to play well."
