Juventus are cold about the prospect of signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere on a free transfer in the summer.

The midfielder’s contract runs out at the end of the season and he is yet to put pen to paper on the new deal offered by Arsenal.

Wilshere is not happy with the highly incentivised contract on offer from the Gunners and believes he deserves a better deal following returning to the team this season.

Arsene Wenger is expecting Wilshere to make a decision on his future before the end of the season, but the midfielder is considering all his options before coming to a conclusion.

There has been interest from Juventus, but according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the Italian champions are not particularly excited about signing the midfielder in the summer.

His injury issues coupled with his high salary demands have stopped Juventus from actively pursuing the England midfielder ahead of the transfer window.

Wilshere remains an option for the Italian champions should they fail to sign Emre Can in the summer, but for the moment he remains a distant second option for the club.

AC Milan have also been keen Wilshere's signing, but they have also pressed the brakes in their pursuit of the midfielder.

West Ham and Everton are interested in signing Wilshere and a stay in England is at present looking more likely as the Premier League clubs are more willing to meet his wage demands.
