Juventus will not make transfer moves for both Anthony Martial and Alvaro Morata during the summer transfer window and will only try and sign one of the two Premier League hitmen.

The Italian champions want to sign a striker in the upcoming transfer window and have zeroed in on Chelsea’s Alvaro and Manchester United’s Martial.

Juventus are studying both players carefully and are weighing in all the pros and cons, but according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, they will only make a move for one of them.

The Italian champions do not have the financial muscle to spend on two big money moves and both players are expected to be costly if they are made available in the market.

Morata is reportedly keen to leave Chelsea and is considering a return to Juventus, but the Blues are unlikely to sell the player for a transfer fee less than €60m.

Juventus are probing a possibility of signing the Spaniard on an initial loan move with an option to make the move permanent at a later date and the eventual cost of the deal would touch Chelsea’s asking price.

The Italian champions have also been keeping tabs on Martial for a while and with only a year left on his contract with Manchester United, Juventus believe he could be the more plausible move to pull off.

But it has been suggested Manchester United are unlikely to want to sell Martial unless the striker pushes for a transfer in the summer.
