Arsenal are moving to put themselves in position to sign Layvin Kurzawa from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

While the Gunners are bidding farewell to long-serving manager Arsene Wenger at the end of the season, their summer recruitment plans are still rumbling on.




Arsenal will be without Champions League football next season for a second successive campaign and the Gunners are keen to strengthen to put themselves in the top four mix under a new manager.

They have set their sights on PSG left-back Kurzawa, according to French radio station RMC, and are moving to position themselves to complete a deal.
 


The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, with Manchester United also claimed to be keen.

Kurzawa, who has a contract with PSG running until the summer of 2020, has made 28 appearances for the French giants in the current campaign, scoring five goals and providing four assists for his team-mates.

The former Monaco left-back has also been capped by France at international level on eleven occasions.
