Leeds United striker Jay-Roy Grot has expressed his delight after a visit to the National Football Academy on the Whites’ post-season tour to Burma.

The Leeds team were greeted by the British Ambassador to Burma, Andrew Patrick, after which the players hosted a series of training sessions with the local children and coaches.




Impressed by the dedication of the local children in the academy, the 20-year-old could not stop himself from praising them.

Grot is excited to have been part of the event and said that he had a wonderful experience with the children in the National Football Academy.
 


The Dutch international also said that it was an event to remember forever as the whole team enjoyed themselves to the fullest.

Grot was quoted as saying by the club's Twitter feed: “This morning’s event was a wonderful experience.

"The kids here love football and are very dedicated.

"Everyone has had a lot of fun and this is something I won’t forget.”

Leeds United are now preparing for the second and final match of their trip to Burma, which comes against the country's national team on 11th May.
