Former Manchester United winger Bojan Djordjic has conceded that Eden Hazard could single handedly win the FA Cup final for Chelsea if he is in the mood today at Wembley.

Hazard has enjoyed a up and down season under Antonio Conte this time around and there are suggestions that he has not always been happy at being played as a false nine by the Chelsea manager.

Last season the Belgian was man marked out of the game when Chelsea lost to Manchester United at Old Trafford and Scott McTominay did the same kind of number on him this term too.

Djordjic admits that the key for Manchester United is to stop Hazard from getting into his element and dictating Chelsea’s creative play as he feels the Belgian has the ability to drag his team to a cup final victory.

He warned Manchester United that the Chelsea star needs to be stopped as on his day the winger could be lethal.

Djordjic said on MUTV’s FA Cup final preview programme: “Stopping Hazard [will be key].

“If he wakes up and feels like ‘it’s a lovely day, I feel like playing’, then he can on his own take this team.

“I watched him play against Liverpool when they beat them 1-0 at home, his second half performance was out of this world, so we need to keep him quiet.

“I know [Ander] Herrera did that at Old Trafford, but in a final, he will want to turn up.”

Hazard has score 16 goals this season, but is yet to find the back of the net in this year’s FA Cup.
