Juventus have agreed to pay monster commission to Liverpool midfielder Emre Can’s representatives to get a deal over the line.

The Italian champions have been on the Germany midfielder’s tail for over a year and he is widely expected to join Juventus this summer on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expires.

At some points this year Juventus grew wary of Can’s intentions as despite indicating that he would be joining, the midfielder continued to delay signing on the dotted line.

However, Juventus managed to ward off competition from other clubs to make sure that Can eventually joins the club, but according to Italian daily Corriere Torino, it has come at a price.

The Italian champions have agreed a five-year contract with the player and the midfielder will be earning a salary of around €6m per season once he signs on the dotted line.

But what has tilted the scales towards Juventus in the saga has been the club’s willingness to adhere to the demands of the midfielder’s representatives.

It has been claimed that the Italian champions have agreed to fork out monster commission for Can’s agents for their efforts to push the midfielder towards Turin.

Juventus have already carried out a secret medical to assess the midfielder’s back injury and he is expected to join after the Champions League final next weekend.
