Daley Blind has revealed he will assess his future over the summer, but indicated that he will not easily leave Manchester United.

The Netherlands international has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and the Red Devils could cash in on him for the right price.

But Blind is determined to make sure he thinks through what the next move in his career should be and says that he will not panic and simply take the first transfer elsewhere which comes along.

He admits though that he is less than satisfied with how the second half of the season turned out for him at Manchester United.

"After an injury, I did not really recover in the second half of the season. That was a difficult time for me", he told the Algemeen Dagblad.

"But United are also a big club.

"Of course there is a lot of competition there. I am under contract for another year.

"I certainly will not agree to a panic transfer", Blind stressed.

"Because it cannot be said that you would play at a new club.

"We have to wait, but it seems logical that I am not satisfied with the second half of the season.

"So first go on holiday and then put all the possibilities next to each other."

Blind can enjoy a summer free of World Cup worries as the Netherlands did not qualify for this summer's tournament in Russia.

He has already been linked with a number of clubs and seems set to have options on his table if he does choose to call time on his Manchester United career.
