Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has touched base with super agent Mino Raiola over signing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The young custodian could leave the San Siro this summer after AC Milan failed to book a place in next season's Champions League, a competition Liverpool are in the final of.

Klopp has his eye on a new goalkeeper and, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, the Liverpool manager has been in touch with Raiola over Donnarumma.

There are expected to be further talks between Klopp and Raiola as a potential deal to take the custodian to Anfield is explored.

AC Milan are claimed to value Donnarumma at around the €70m mark, though Raiola is trying to do a deal for €40m.
