Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren insists that his team will have to stop Cristiano Ronaldo together, but if there is a one-on-one situation in the Champions League final he will be up for the challenge.

The Reds are aiming for a sixth European Cup when they take on Ronaldo's team Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League on 26th May.

Lovren, for whom it will be his first taste of a Champions League final, insists that he will be ready to face the challenge and will do everything he can to help his team win the trophy.

According to the Croatian international, it is always tough to face players such as Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah and Ronaldo. In order to stop Ronaldo, Lovren feels that it will be necessary to defend as a unit and even if he is be alone he will try his best to stop the former Manchester United number 7.

"Ronaldo, Salah, Messi, you need to respect these players a lot", Lovren told a press conference.
