Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello insists that he and his club will do everything in their power to keep Chelsea target Mauro Icardi at the San Siro.

The Pensioners have been heavily linked with a move for the Argentina international with reports in Italy suggesting that they are even prepared to trigger his release clause.

Icardi has a €110m release clause in his contract and has also been linked with Italian champions Juventus.

The Inter CEO though revealed that Icardi is a symbol of the club and they will do everything in their power to make sure he stays.

"We will do everything that is right to keep Mauro Icardi", Antonello was quoted as saying by Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
