Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in winger Ivan Perisic during negotiations with Inter over midfielder Mousa Dembele.

Dembele’s current contract with Spurs runs out at the end of next season and he has refused to sign a new deal with the club, leading to speculation over his future.

Inter are interested in taking him to Italy and a party from the club, led by sporting director Piero Ausilio, are already in London negotiating with the player and Tottenham.

It has been claimed that Dembele has already given his nod to a move to the Nerazzurri, but negotiations with Tottenham are ongoing and the north London club have expressed an interest in an Inter player.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the north London club are interested in signing Croatian winger Perisic from Inter during the ongoing summer transfer window.

It is unclear whether Tottenham want Perisic as part of a deal that could see Dembele move Inter or are treating the pair as two separate deals.

Spurs have asked for a transfer fee of around €30m for Inter if they want to take the Belgian midfielder to the San Siro this summer.

Napoli and AC Milan are also keen on Dembele, but for the moment Inter have been the early movers in the saga and Perisic could go on to play an important role in the Nerazzurri potentially signing the Spurs midfielder.
