Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has admitted that he wants to return to Sao Paulo at some point in his career.

The 25-year-old winger came through the youth ranks at the Brazilian heavyweights, then breaking into the first team and featuring for the club from 2010 until 2012.

He moved to Paris Saint-Germain at the start of 2013, having turned heads with his performances for Brazil at the London Olympics.

Lucas ended his time in the French capital in the January transfer window earlier this year, when he completed a switch to Premier League side Tottenham.

The Brazilian has set his sights on winning trophies with Tottenham and enjoying a successful spell at White Hart Lane, but does want to return to Sao Paulo eventually.

Lucas told Globo Esporte: "I've always had this desire to wear that shirt again.

"When I left, I always said that I want to win a lot in Europe.

"I have a timeframe that I have in mind to stay in Europe and then return to Sao Paulo.

"I want one day to feel the emotion of wearing that shirt again, to hear this wonderful crowd.

"Sao Paulo is the team that I love, I do not deny that.

"I want to come back one day, yes", the winger added.

Lucas sent his message while back in Brazil to watch Sao Paulo against Botafogo in the Brazilian top flight, a game his former club won 3-2.
