Tottenham Hotspur target Matthijs de Ligt has visited Juventus' facilities with his agent amid interest in his services from the Italian champions.

The 18-year-old is on the books at Dutch giants Ajax, who have been reluctant to sell this summer.

Premier League side Tottenham are keen on the Dutchman, who has already established himself in the senior Netherlands squad despite his tender years, but are a step behind in the race for his signature.

According to Sky Italia, De Ligt visited Turin in recent days and had a look at Juventus' facilities.

De Ligt turned out for the Netherlands in a friendly against Italy on Monday evening, which finished 1-1.
