Bordeaux have rejected Inter's attempt to drive down the price of Tottenham and Liverpool target Malcom by including a player as part of the deal.

Inter have taken massive steps over the last few days in their attempt to sign the Brazilian winger despite heavy interest from other big clubs of Europe.

Malcom has reportedly agreed to a move to the Nerazzurri and despite clubs such as Tottenham, Liverpool, Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain being interested, the player believes joining Inter would be the right step for his career.

With the player wanting to join, Inter have gone to work to reach an agreement over a fee with Bordeaux but for the moment they are unwilling to match the French club’s demands.

The Ligue 1 outfit are believed to be asking for around €50m for Malcom and for the moment Inter are only prepared to table a bid of around €40m.

According to Sportitalia, the Nerazzurri were prepared to offer winger Jonathan Biabiany as part of a deal and bring the price down for the Brazilian.

However, Bordeaux have shown little interest in signing the 30-year-old Frenchman, who spent last season on loan at Sparta Prague, and rejected Inter’s proposal.

More talks are expected to take place in the coming days and Inter are hopeful that they will be able to reach a compromise with the French outfit for Malcom.
