Standard Liege have agreed to sell Edmilson Junior, who has been linked with Fulham, West Ham and Wolves, to Qatari side Al-Duhail.

Edmilson impressed with his performances for Standard Liege last season and scored seven goals in the club's final ten league games.

He was expected to leave Standard Liege this summer and has been linked with Premier League trio Fulham, West Ham and Wolves.

But the winger is making a surprising move to Qatar, joining the Gulf country's champions.

Standard Liege have confirmed that they have agreed to sell Edmilson to Al-Duhail and the wide-man has signed a contract with his new club.

Al-Duhail won the Qatar Stars League last season, going through the entire league campaign unbeaten and finishing eleven points clear of the competition.

Now Edmilson will further add to their strength ahead of the start of a new campaign in Qatar.

Edmilson also attracted interest from Italy and Portugal this summer, with Fiorentina and FC Porto keen.
