Manchester United are not actively looking to sell Tottenham Hotspur target Anthony Martial before Thursday's transfer deadline for Premier League clubs.

Martial is keen to leave Old Trafford for regular first team football, but with Premier League clubs choosing to slash their own transfer window and shutting it on 9th August, time is running out if he is to move within the league.

Tottenham have been linked with wanting Martial, but according to the BBC, Manchester United are not actively looking to sell.

As such, it is looking unlikely that the Frenchman will move anywhere before Thursday's deadline.

European clubs could move for Martial after Thursday, with no other countries falling into line with the Premier League's closing date.

But it would likely take a big offer to convince Manchester United to sell Martial when they cannot sign a replacement before the January window.
