Juventus are waiting for the Premier League transfer window to close before making a possible move for Chelsea and Manchester United linked Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian midfielder has been widely linked with a move away from Lazio this summer but for the moment his future remains unresolved.

Manchester United backed out of negotiations for Milinkovic-Savic after learning about Lazio’s financial demands earlier in the summer but with Paul Pogba’s future under renewed focus, there is talk the club could revisit the case this week. Chelsea have also been mooted to be a possible Premier League destination, but time is running out.

Juventus have been keeping tabs on the midfielder for months and have been pondering possible options to take the midfielder from Rome to Turin in the ongoing window.

But according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the Italian champions won’t make a move before the Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday evening.

The Italian champions want to make sure that there are no Premier League clubs involved in the transfer chase once they decide to approach Lazio for Milinkovic-Savic.

However, they are unlikely to try and buy the Serbian unless they sell Miralem Pjanic over the next fortnight.

The Italian clubs have a week more than the Premier League sides to complete deals for incoming players.
