Huddersfield Town are interested in signing Celtic linked winger Patrick Roberts on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City on deadline day, according to Sky Sports News.

Roberts spent the last two-and-a-half seasons on loan at Celtic and the Scottish champions have again been linked with a move for the Manchester City man.




There are suggestions Celtic are keen to re-sign the player on a permanent deal this summer, but it seems Roberts could stay south of the border next season.

The Terries have been in touch with the Premier League champions are in talks to take Roberts to Yorkshire before the transfer window slams shut at 5pm later today.

It remains to be seen whether the winger will be up for a move to Huddersfield today or wait for a return to Celtic later in the month.

Manchester City are keen to ship him out as Roberts is not part of Pep Guardiola’s plans going forward this season.
