Everton are conducting the final round of talks as they look to rush through deals for Barcelona’s Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes before the 5pm Premier League deadline.

A high powered Everton delegation arrived in Barcelona earlier today to finalise an agreement to sign Mina and Gomes from the Catalan giants on deadline day.

Everton and Barcelona have reached an agreement over a transfer fee for Colombian defender Mina and Gomes is also being sent to Goodison Park, but on loan.

The Toffees are hopeful of signing the two players before the 5pm deadline and according to Catalan daily Sport, they are conducting the final round of talks to provide the finishing touches to the agreements.

Mina and Gomes are expected to undergo their medicals in Barcelona as there is little time for them to travel to England to complete the formalities of the transfer.

With a little less than two hours left for Premier League sides to do deals, Everton are cutting it close but they remain confident of taking both deals over the line in time.

Barcelona have been trying to offload the duo all summer and it seems they will be able to succeed by the transfer window slams shut in England at 5pm.
