Napoli are rekindling their interest in Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.

The Serie A giants want to land another goalkeeper this summer and have been looking at several options, including Liverpool shot-stopper Simon Mignolet.

They have previously explored a swoop for Ospina and, according to Italian daily Il Mattino, they are again looking in the Arsenal goalkeeper's direction.

Ospina is out of the picture at the Emirates Stadium following the summer signing of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.

The goalkeeper was not even in the matchday squad for Arsenal's Premier League clash against Manchester City on Sunday.

Arsenal are looking to sell Ospina, though Napoli have been keener on loaning in a new goalkeeper, while then reserving the option to buy at a later date.

Liverpool's Mignolet, who has also been linked with Napoli, is also someone the Reds want to sell rather than loan.

Jurgen Klopp's side have slapped a £12m asking price on Mignolet's head and none of his suitors have yet been willing to pay such a sum to sign him.
