English League Two outfit Bury have completed the signing of Rangers midfielder Jamie Barjonas on a loan deal until January, an official statement on the club’s website has revealed.

Barjonas, 19, has been training with his new club after impressing during pre-season and he has convinced Ryan Lowe to sign him up on loan for the first part of the season.

The Scottish midfielder, who has represented his country across various age groups, made his competitive first team debut in May last year and has since made nine appearances for the Gers.

Barjonas is delighted to have secured a loan move to Bury and expressed his joy by claiming that he will work tirelessly to help his new team whenever required.

“I'm very happy to have signed for Bury on loan”, Barjonas told the club’s official website.

“Having spoken to the manager and all the players, I'm very excited to get started down here, and I will do everything I can to help this club to succeed.”

Bury have been looking to strengthen their midfield this season and Barjonas will try to kick-on and secure as much first team football as possible before a return to Rangers in the new year.

Barjonas could make his debut for Bury this weekend, when the Shakers play host to Forest Green Rovers at Gigg Lane.
