Rotherham United boss Paul Warne has admitted he thinks Marcelo Bielsa sitting on a bucket throughout matches is "a bit weird", but insists he nevertheless likes the Argentine.

Leeds' superb start to the season under Bielsa continued on Saturday afternoon as Warne's Rotherham side were beaten 2-0 at Elland Road, with Luke Ayling and Kemar Roofe scoring.

Bielsa, in his usual fashion, watched on from his bucket in the technical area as he became the first Leeds manager to win their opening four matches in charge of the club.

And Warne is a fan of Bielsa, if not his bucket.

The Rotherham boss told his post-match press conference: "I like him. He's a bit quirky. Sitting down on that thing's a bit weird but apart from that, I like him."

Leeds have already been installed as favourites to win promotion from the Championship by many people, but Warne has cautioned about the Whites getting too carried away after three league games.

He was though, only too keen to salute Leeds' playing style.

"The way they play is pretty unique. No disrespect but I don't remember Walsall playing like that [last season when we were in League One].

"It's early days but the fact they beat Stoke, Derby and us – we're probably the biggest shock of those three!

"The way they play is excellent and it's difficult to stop.

"Momentum is crucial but it's a long season.

"I don't want to burst anyone's balloons; there's only 43 games left", he added.

Leeds now face another test on Tuesday evening when they head to Swansea City, relegated from the Premier League last season.

A further match on the road is slated for next weekend, away at Norwich City.
