Leeds United midfield target Ryan Woods is set to undergo a medical at Stoke City today after the Potters reached an agreement with Brentford, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 24-year-old midfielder’s future at Brentford has been under the scanner for a while and it seems he is finally on his way out of the club.

Leeds have been keeping tabs on him as a potential target and even Swansea have been keen on taking him to south wales but it seems Stoke have won the race to sign him.

The Potters have reached an agreement over a fee with Brentford and the midfielder will be travelling to Stoke today to complete the formalities of his move.

Woods will undergo a medical with Stoke later today and sign a contract ahead of completing his switch to the bet365 Stadium this summer.

The 24-year-old is set to join Stoke on an initial loan deal with the move becoming permanent in the January window for a transfer fee of around £6.5m.
