Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has agreed terms on a contract with French giants Lyon.

Les Gones are working hard to land Dembele before the summer transfer window closes on Friday evening and have been in touch with Celtic.

Lyon have yet to find an agreement with Celtic, with Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas admitting that the Scottish champions are proving to be tough negotiators.

But Lyon have taken an important step forward and, according to France Football, have an agreement on a contract with Dembele.

Putting an agreement in place with Dembele means that Lyon will be able to quickly close out the deal when they do reach an understanding with Celtic.

The Scottish giants, who have admitted Dembele could leave, have already rejected two proposals from Lyon.

Dembele also has interest from other clubs.

Marseille have seen a cash plus player bid rejected by Celtic, while Borussia Dortmund and Schalke have also been credited with interest in the Frenchman.
