Jorginho's agent has lauded his client's performances for Chelsea in the Premier League, shining the spotlight on his display in the Blues' win at St. James' Park against Newcastle United.
Chelsea beat off competition from Manchester City in the summer to win the race for the midfielder's signature, as he joined from Napoli.
He has been handed regular game time by Blues boss Maurizio Sarri and clocked up all 90 minutes against Newcastle in a 2-1 league win the north east.
Jorginho's agent feels those who did not know his client are now understanding his quality and stressed the impressive nature of his performance at Newcastle.
"Jorge is one of the player who has touched the ball the most in the Premier League, against Newcastle he touched the ball more than [Rafael] Benitez's entire team", Joao Santos told Radio Marte.
"He is doing well. He is surprising those who did not know him and working with Mister [Sarri] day after day, he will be able to improve again", the agent added.
Jorginho has made four appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this season, chipping in with a single goal.
The 26-year-old is currently with the Italy squad, ahead of the Azzurri's UEFA Nations League games against Poland and Portugal, respectively.
