Chelsea star Eden Hazard is expected to return to training with Belgium today after recovering from a knock, according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws.

Hazard has reported for international duty with Belgium, who finished third in the World Cup in the summer and is expected to feature Scotland and Iceland in the upcoming days.

It emerged this week that the winger has been absent from the Belgium training sessions due to a knock he picked up, but it seems the injury is not too serious.

And it has been claimed that the Belgium captain will be back in training today with the rest of the squad ahead of their international commitments later this week.

Hazard was key to Belgium’s run to the World Cup semi-finals and is expected to be pivotal in their European Championship qualifiers and the UEFA Nations League.

The Belgian is also a huge part of Chelsea’s plans this season as they seek to return to the top four after making a flying start to their Premier League campaign.
